The Board of School Directors of the Upper Darby School District, Upper Darby, Delaware County will receive sealed bids for: 

VCT TILING

CUSTODIAL CLEANING

MODULAR TRAILER SIDING

at the Office of the Secretary of the School District, 4611 Bond Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA  19026, on or before 10 a.m., 

FRIDAY, APRIL 28, 2017 

at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be in writing, signed and sealed by the bidders. The form of bid and all necessary information must be obtained by the bidders from the Office of the Secretary prior to the submission of the bids and all bids must be in accordance therewith. Any bid not in accordance with these requirements may be rejected. The Upper Darby School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof.

INVITATION FOR BID

 Sealed proposals will be received by the Upper Darby School District, at the Administration Offices located at 4611 Bond Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 until 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 26, 2017 for furnishing all of the materials and performing all of the work for:

ROOFTOP UNIT REPLACEMENT AT BEVERLY HILLS MIDDLE SCHOOL 

COURTYARD CONCRETE REPLACEMENT AT UPPER DARBY HIGH SCHOOL 

For the following contracts:           General Construction, HVAC Construction and Electrical Construction 

The proposals will be publicly open at 2:00 PM, prevailing time on the date herein above listed.

Construction Documents including Drawings and Project Manuals with Specifications produced by the office of Bonnett Associates Incorporated, Suite 220 Baldwin Tower, 1510 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022 (610-447-1200) will be available after April 7, 2017 in an electronic format (Portable Document Format) on the Website www.box.com or, by special request and an additional fee, on Compact Disc.  The Bid Documents, in pdf format, may be obtained by prospective bidders upon completion of the Bidder Registration Form and payment of a nonrefundable fee of $50 in the form of company check or money order made payable to Bonnett Associates Incorporated. Registration forms may be obtained by contacting Rebecca Abel, Office Manager via email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., via telephone at 610-447-1200 or via fax at 610-447-1229.  Prospective bidders shall be required to obtain website access and shall be granted a unique user name and password for tracking purposes once the registration form is complete and payment is received. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the Website frequently for additional posted information including Addenda. Construction Documents shall be available for review, without charge, at Bonnett Associates Incorporated, Suite 220 Baldwin Tower, 1510 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022. 

All Bids must be sealed and plainly marked on the lower left corner of the envelope, “ROOFTOP UNIT REPLACEMENT AT BEVERLY HILLS MIDDLE SCHOOL” or “COURTYARD CONCRETE REPLACEMENT AT UPPER DARBY HIGH SCHOOL”..  Bids must be submitted to the attention of Mr. Joseph McGilvery, Purchasing Supervisor, Upper Darby School District.

 The Courtyard Concrete site will be available for inspection by bidders at a Pre-Bid Meeting on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Contractors ashall report to the Main Entrance of Upper Darby High School 601 N. Lansdowne Ave. Upper Darby, PA 19082 

The  Rooftop Project site and building will be available for inspection by bidders at a Pre-Bid meeting on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 3:30 PM.  Contractors shall report promptly to the Main Entrance of Beverly Hills Middle School.  Bids will not be accepted from bidders who have not inspected the site and building.

  

Bid/RFP/RFQ Specifications

 

Vendors: Please note that you must always download the General Instructions and Signature Page for each bid, as all submissions must include the cover page of the general instructions along with a signature page that is signed and notarized in order to be considered. Failure to submit a complete bid package in the format outlined in the general instructions may result in the bidder being designated as non-responsive. Vendors submitting multiple bids for advertised specs may submit only one year to date catalogue.

 

As part of the District's “GREEN” initiative we ask that when submitting responses you only return bid sheets that contain pricing information.  Please return your package with two-sided copies.
