UDSD Sets Re-Registration Guidelines for 2011-12 School Year

Three separate groups of students will need to re-register this summer before the start of the 2011-2012 school year.

The first group that will need to re-register is any current Upper Darby School District student who will be attending Upper Darby High School next year. Current 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Upper Darby students must re-register before returning to school for the next school year. Beginning June 21, 2011, all returning students attending Upper Darby High School for the 2011-2012 school year must re-register with the school district. The re-registration process for these students will take place at Upper Darby High School from Monday through Thursday starting June 21st. The hours for re-registration are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  All of the re-registrations will be done by appointment only.   Please call the high school during the day at 610-622-7000 x2457 or x2319 to schedule an appointment in advance. The District encourages all returning students attending the high school next year to begin the re-registration process early in the summer, as August appointments may be difficult to obtain.

The other groups of students that need to re-register are students who attend any of our elementary or middle schools (kindergarten - grade 7) and are on support affidavits or have registered with a multiple occupancy status. These students need to re-register at the Central Registration Office at 7000 Walnut Street in Upper Darby.   These appoinments are also done by appointment only. Please call for an appointment at 610-352-2400. Those appointments can begin immediately.

For all three groups that are re-registering, the following documents must be presented at the registration appointment:

  1. The birth certificate for the child being re-registered
  2. A deed, lease, tax bill, or mortgage booklet from where you are living
  3. A utility bill
  4. Your picture I.D. or driver’s license

Those on support affidavits or multiple occupancies will need additional information which can be located on the Upper Darby School District website in the right hand column under "Registration."

Please note that new students to the District, regardless of age and grade level, must register at the Central Registration office. The high school location is for re-registration applicants only.  Please feel free to call our Central Registration office at 610-352-2400 for any additional information.
