The State of Pennsylvania has been granted a waiver from No Child Left Behind and will no longer be measuing Adequate Yearly Progress.  Instead, the State released a new School Perfomance Profile on September 30, 2013.

Students in Pennsylvania public schools will take tests in mathematics, reading, science, and writing.  A Student Report will explain how your child performed on this year's exam.  The PDE Guide to understanding the scores on your child's report and the recommendations for your child can be downloaded by clicking here.

Focus points for the 2016 PSSA Testing can be downloaded by clicking here.

The letter linked below contains important information about the 2016 Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) and future changes to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). For more information about the PSSA, please click here. If you have any questions or concerns about individual student assessment results, please contact Dr. McGarry's office.
