• October Community Service: TREATS FOR CHOP- We are collecting individually wrapped, snack-sized candy for the Ronald McDonald House, which provides a home for families and children being treated at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Our candy donations will help these kids and their siblings have a fun Halloween away from home filled with sweet treats. We will begin collecting Wednesday, October 2. Students can bring their donations to their LA class. Thank you in advance for participating in our first community service project. Friday, October 25 will be the last day for the candy donations so that the treats can be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House in time for trick or treating. Thanks so much for your support.

  • November Community Service: The student council is sponsoring a canned food drive. Please send your donations into your student's homeroom. Our canned goods will be donated to our local food bank to help the families of our community. Thanks so much for your support.

  • January Community Service: In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. my students of room 102 make bagged lunches for the homeless of our community. The students decorate the bags and write personal notes. The lunches include a sandwich, cookies and fruit. The students make over 150 lunches and the shelter is very appreciative of their efforts.
