About Your Teacher 

I was born and raised in Delaware County, only a stone's throw from Upper Darby. I still live in the area and don't see myself leaving anytime soon. This area is such a great place to raise a family! My husband and I have two daughters, two cats, and two dogs. I love the colors teal, blue, and turquoise. My favorite foods are cheese fries, cheese steaks, and Dim Sum. 

Mrs. Cheng's Education

I went to Penn State University - University Park Campus. I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a focus in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I also completed in my Masters in Education with a focus in Special Education through Penn State's World Campus. I am currently in Penn State's World Campus program for Children's Literature.

Mrs. Cheng's Teaching Experience

I began teaching as a substitute teacher in Head Start (Chester & Yeadon) and Colwyn Elementary School. I spent a year as the Kindergarten Enrichment Teacher at a Malvern School. I then taught full day kindergarten for 2.5 years in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. I took some time off from teaching while I earned my Masters Degree. I started in Upper Darby SD at Bywood Elementary School as a RTI/MTSS teacher. I have been teaching First Grade at Primos Elementary since 2018 and absolutely love it!
