• Here is a sneak peak inside our MTSS classes.

Kindergarten students continue to work very hard on letter and sound recognition.  Any additional exposure you can provide at home will continue to aid them in letter/sound mastery.

First grade students have grown tremendously in their acquisition of letters and sounds.  They have now moved on to segmenting, tapping and blending words.  Digraphs have recently been introduced and the students enjoy building words on their magnet boards.

Second grade students are working on their decoding using a combination of Fundations skills and Rigby Readers.  Keep up the good work!

Third grade students are using SRA Corrective Reading B1.  This program works on developing and applying decoding strategies.  We also spend some time reading non-fiction Rigby Readers.

In fourth and fifth grade Rigby Readers are used for fluency and comprehension.  Some books are so interesting that we have been able to expand and extend the topic!

Thank you for your continued support.

Wishing you Health, Happiness and Laughter!
