Dear Aronimink Families,

Spring is officially here!  As you know, Spring at Aronimink is full of great events and activities.  Please be sure to take advantage of all the amazing things we have to offer!

Thanks to all who came out to last Thursday’s Family Heritage Night!  It was a great event that celebrated our diversity and provided an opportunity to learn more about one another.  A special thanks to Mrs. King, our EL teacher, for her efforts in making this event happen.  Thank you to all who brought food, poster, and cultural artifacts.  We couldn’t have done it without you.  The huge turnout was another reminder of our strong Aronimink community.  I hope that we can continue the great turnout and volunteer support!

Congratulations to all our participants in Monday’s 3-on-3 March Madness Basketball Tournament.  It was a fun-filled event that highlighted competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  A big shout out to Mr. Dunn, our P.E. teacher, for his time and efforts in planning and coordinating this great event.  Let’s hope the NCAA tourney lives up to the excitement of Aronimink’s tournament.

Spring Conferences

As a reminder, Spring conferences are less than a week away.  On both Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th,  our teachers will be holding spring conferences.  Conferences are a great way to have some very important facetime with your child’s teacher to discuss their progress.  If you have not already scheduled a conference and would like an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher, please be sure to reach out and schedule with them ASAP.  Please be sure to make arraignments for a 12:30 PM dismissal on both days.  We thank you in advance for your understanding.

ATTENTION 4th and 5th GRADE PARENTS!!!

The Aronimink RUNNING CLUB is here!  Aronimink is looking for 4th and 5th grade students to participate in this great district program.  In addition to physical fitness, this program promotes goal setting, self-confidence, and team work. The culminating event is the Brad Schoener 5K in late May.

Best Regards,
