Welcome to Team B 9th grade English! In this class, you will be required to learn to read independently, examine themes of humanity, research multiple topics, learn new vocabulary words, organize your thoughts, write essays, improve your grammar skills, and work on self-directed inquiry and reflections through effective communication and connectedness. Well will be reading a multitude of short stories, poems, and non-fiction pieces in addition to the following larger pieces of literature: The Lord of the Flies, Of Mice and Men, Romeo and Juliet, Animal Farm, The Odyssey, and The Narrative of Fredrick Douglass.
