Miss Elizabeth Johnson

Hello, Parents and Students!

My name is Miss Johnson and I am a second grade teacher at Highland Park Elementary School. Previously, I taught second grade for four years at St. Dorothy School.  I grew up in Drexel Hill and I am thrilled to join the Highland Park family!

I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University (WE ARE!) in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education, a minor in Human Development and Family Studies and earned a certification in grades PK-4. Currently, I am pursuing my M.Ed. with Reading Specialist Certification at Holy Family University.  During the summer months, I am the Art Director at Providence Summer Camp in Wallingford. At PSC I have the opportunity to work with campers ages 3 to 13. This summer, I spent much of my time teaching art classes at camp. It was a blast!

I am very excited to be here at Highland Park and teach my fifth year of second grade! I will work with the faculty, parents, and students to help my class grow in a positive, welcoming classroom environment. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I can be reached at ejohnson@upperdarbysd.org or by calling the school at (610)-853-4530 and leaving a message.
