Upper Darby School District received an application for the Vision Academy Charter School of Innovation on November 12, 2020. As per Board Policy 100, the Board of School Directors "shall evaluate applications submitted for charter schools located within the district, in accordance with the requirements of law and those established by the Board" and engage in its charter school review process.
The District has held three (3) hearings to consider the application. It is anticipated that the District Administration will provide the Board of School Directors with a recommendation for action by the Board during a special voting meeting on March 2, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

How to submit public comments
Community members and parents can send public comments for review by the Application Review Committee to chartercomments@upperdarbysd.org. Please include in your first and last name and your address in your email. You must be a resident of the Upper Darby School District (Upper Darby Township, Clifton Heights Borough, or Millbourne Borough) in order for your comment to be read publicly at the meetings. Comments received up to the close of the public comment period will be read into or included in the record.
