Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am so excited for the beginning of another new school year!!!

My name is Michael O’Kane, and I’m going to be your child’s teacher

this year. This is my twenty-seventh year at Highland Park (17 in third

grade) and I really love working with this age group.

It is a privilege to work with your child this year! I am going to do my

best to help your child succeed in school. However, I am also

counting on you to make this year a positive and enjoyable

experience.

Your child is already a registered full user for Sum Dog

(Sumdog.com) and their password is taped inside their homework folder. They also have limited access to GetEpic.com and Readworks.org for reading content. 

I will also keep you updated with news, progress, and
