Mrs. King

My name is Mrs. King and I am thrilled to be teaching ELL at Aronimink School for the past 10 years!

My students are aways surprised to learn that I attended Kindergarten at Aronimink when I was a child. Years later, before I became a teacher, my own four children attended Aronimink, and it was the wonderful teachers they had here that inspired me to change careers and become a teacher.

I also taught third grade at Bywood School for six years and ELL at Highland Park School for one year before coming to Aronimink.

If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child and ELL class, please feel free to call or email me at school.

We have a full, five-day week of school this week!

First graders are working on Lesson 28 in Storytown, as are third, fourth and fifth graders.  Second graders are on Lesson 30.

Students in all grades are also working on an end-of-year research project. For example, first graders are interviewing a person about his or her school experience in the past, while fifth graders are writing a biography of a famous American. Ask your student about his or her research topic.

May is a very busy month at Aronimink, so please check the school calendar to see all the activities that are going on.

Parents, please note: School is closed for students on Tuesday, May 21 (Primary Election Day), Friday, May 24 and Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day weekend).
