Mrs. King

My name is Mrs. King and I am thrilled to be teaching ELL at Aronimink School for the past 10 years!

My students are aways surprised to learn that I attended Kindergarten at Aronimink when I was a child. Years later, before I became a teacher, my own four children attended Aronimink, and it was the wonderful teachers they had here that inspired me to change careers and become a teacher.

I also taught third grade at Bywood School for six years and ELL at Highland Park School for one year before coming to Aronimink.

If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child and ELL class, please feel free to call or email me at school.

THANK YOU to all the families who sent in bread or other food items for Bread Day last week! The event was a big success, and the children loved tasting bread from their classmates' cultures.

Please remember to sign up with your student’s classroom teacher for a report card conference on November 25 or 26. The conference is an important opportunity for you to learn about your child’s progress in school, and how teachers and parents can work together to ensure our students' success. I will try to attend all conferences for my ELL students.

Also, please be aware that next week is a very short week of school: students are dismissed at 12:30 on Monday and Tuesday for parent-teacher conferences, and at 12:05 on Wednesday  to begin the Thanksgiving holidays.  School is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28 and on Friday, November 29.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
