Your child should read for 20 mins each night and/or complete a task in their Reading Homework Book.
Your child should uitlize xtramath, sumdog. or flash cards to practice math facts each night.
Your child also has assigned pages from today's lesson. In addition, please encourage your child to study the topic by explaining what they are doing on their homework. Please see your child's planner for details or feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for questions or concerns.
Parent Math Homework Tip: Everyday your child will write down objectives and notes/examples of problems in their math notebook. This should be a resource to help them at home. If they say, they do not know how to do it, direct them to their math notebook. If they have not copied notes, please encourage your child to stay focused in math and class and copy the examples that are provided to help them. If your child has copied notes and is still frustrated with homework. Please write a note with your signature at the top of the homework letting me know your child needs extra help with that topic.
Here below is parent letter for each math chapter to give you an idea of what your child is learning in class and should be studying.
