  • Art Club - All Grades

    Students who attend Art Club will gain valuable experience in various art techniques and projects. Emphasis is placed on both exposing students to a wide range of artists and working material, as well as school beautification and school community projects. Students will meet in room 4 on Tuesdays from 2:45-3:45. For more information please contact Ms. Wilson.

  • Cross Country - All Grades

    Students are welcome to come out and get fit while having fun! This club is for those who love to run and for those who want to start. We will stretch, run, and cool down while setting goals and learning to push through them. If you have any questions or want more information please contact Mr. Dix or Ms. Pickett.

  • Homework Club - All Grades

    Homework club is offered Tuesdays and Thursday after school until 3:45 in the library. Students can work together on assignments, and Upper Darby Royal Scholars (students in grades 9-12) offer free homework help. Everyone is welcome!   • LGBTQIA+ Diversity Club - All Grades

    The LGBTQIA+/Diversity club is a student-run organization that unites LGBTQIA+ youth to build community, support, and provide safety and confidentiality to students who are struggling with their identity as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning. It is also a place where LGBTQIA+ and allied youth can come and build a social network where their identities are respected. This club meets on the second and third Monday of every month after school, starting at 2:40 PM until 4:00 PM in room 131.   • Morning Basketball - All Grades

    Students interested in health, recreation, and some friendly competition are welcome to sign up for morning basketball. Morning basketball brings our students together in the gymnasium to improve their skills, self-confidence, self-image, and grit. Morning basketball is a great opportunity to get some fitness in before the school day begins.  Get fit, be fit, and stay fit!   • Photography Club - All Grades

    Join Miss Knowles and your peers in Photography Club! Are you looking for a nice place to hang out after school and learn about photography? Well, here's your chance! We will be taking pictures and learning new skills while using our devices and cameras provided by the school. We meet on Tuesdays OR Wednesdays (sign-ups are on our Schoology Group), from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

  • Reading Olympics - All Grades

    Reading Olympics is a year-long competition for students in grades 6-8. Students read from a select list of 45 books throughout the year with a culminating game-show style event at the end of the year bringing together teams from across the county. This year our BHMS teams will be competing against the other county schools via ZOOM in early May. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Ms. Poletto.

  • Science Club - All Grades

    Science Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:50 PM - 3:50 PM. This club offers synchronous options for virtual students. In the Fall and Spring, Science Club explores a local ecosystem. In the Winter, Science Club engages in a variety of science topics and activities. Students who are interested in joining can contact Ms. Carchidi or stop by room 132.
