The Art Curriculum at Westbrook Park enables our students to develop an understanding of Art Knowledge, Art Concepts and Art Skills. The curriculum also harvests an appreciation for Art in each of our students. This enables the students in each grade level to recall their knowledge of art, its concepts, and its skills in order to enhance their own creative process when they produce their own original artwork. Our Art Curriculum produces young artists that will grow into confident artistic adults that have an appreciation for art. Westbrook Park art students have the opportunity to participate in the annual school district's art show. It takes place at the end of every school year at Upper Darby High School. This event is coordinated by all of the art teachers in the entire school district. Artwork from every grade level is hung up in the hallways of the high school for display. It is always free admission and it is always open to the public.
