The school psychologist works with the school team (i.e., administrators, teachers, interventions specialists, and other staff) to advocate for the educational and behavioral success of students, all while determining the least restrictive environment for students to learn. This may include, but is not limited to, determining possible academic and/or behavioral interventions, progress monitoring and data review, and possible Special Education evaluations and eligibility determinations should tiered interventions prove ineffective.
