Dr. Ron Cole has been in the Upper Darby School District for ten years, serving as a Science teacher at Upper Darby High School and then as a Lead Teacher at Beverly Hills Middle School. He has twenty-two years of educational experience after teaching in higher education prior to joining Upper Darby School District.

In the classroom, he fostered an engaging and inclusive classroom environment and has sparked intellectual curiosity and personal growth in hundreds of students throughout the years.  Using his training in trauma-informed care and restorative practices, Dr. Cole mentored and coached his middle school students daily to better prepare them for the rigors of high school.

Outside of work, Dr. Cole enjoys playing cards, working on his cars, walking Jack, his 110lb dog, and spending time with family and friends.  Dr. Cole is excited about this new beginning at Drexel Hill Middle School, especially working with 6th-grade students and their families.
