    Ms. Rosen is the Assistant Principal of Operations at Drexel Hill Middle School. In her twentieth year dedicated to the students of Drexel Hill Middle School, Ms. Rosen has served as a seventh and eighth grade language arts teacher, a process skills teacher, and a lead teacher.

     

    Ms. Rosen attended The University of Delaware, earning an undergraduate degree in music.  She then went to Rutgers University, where she earned her teaching certification.  She received her Masters of Education from Cabrini University and her Master’s of Educational Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University.

     

    Having fulfilled the roles of SpeakUp! Coordinator, Inaugural and ongoing National Junior Honor Society Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, and Producer of the school musical, Ms. Rosen truly values the relationships that she has had the opportunity to build with the school community. 

     

    Ms. Rosen has also demonstrated her commitment to the social and emotional wellness of those around her by serving as a member of the Upper Darby School District Equity Team, acting as the school-level coach for both Trauma-Informed Teaching and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and becoming a certified trainer of Introduction to Restorative Practices and Restorative Circles through the International Institute of Restorative Practices.

     

    Ms. Rosen is inspired daily by her students and her Drexel Hill Middle School family.  In her free time, Ms. Rosen enjoys traveling, reading, attending concerts, photography, and hanging with her cats, Otis, Axl, and Pearl.

     

    Ms. Rosen is looking forward to another awesome year of building relationships, growing, and learning at Drexel Hill Middle School!
