Assistant Principal's Biography
Assistant Principal: Operations
(610) 622-7000 ext. 2312
After earning my teaching degree from La Salle University, I started my career as a special education teacher. At the time, I was interested in supporting my students' emotional growth and worked towards a masters degree in school counseling from Indiana University.
I taught 4th grade for several years before stepping into a school counselor position. I've been a school counselor for the past 15 years, most recently at Harrisonburg High School in VA as the Director of School Counseling. During this time, I worked towards an administration license at James Madison University and a certificate program in restorative justice at Eastern Mennonite University.
I look forward to supporting our students, counselors, and teachers in this upcoming year at UDHS. On a personal note, after being out of the area for many years, I am so happy to return to the greater Philadelphia area to be closer to my family. I have two daughters in college and just bought a new home.
