• Below is important information for all seniors about commencement.

    Commencement — June 10, 2024

We are incredibly excited to celebrate graduation with our Upper Darby families. Please note some key details about the ceremony on June 10th.

    • Seniors are to report to UDHS at 7:30am. Seniors need to be seated in their graduation rooms at that time. I would suggest arriving at the high school at 7:15am.

    • Seniors will be transported directly from the high school to the Liacouras Center.

    • The commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 11am. Please provide yourself with enough time to travel to the Liacouras Center, park, and be seated.

    • Venue Address: 1776 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19121

    • Parking Address: 1710 N 15th St, Philadelphia, PA 19122

    • Please note that the Liacouras Center has a clear bag policy for large events.

    Commencement Dress Code

Dress code is crucial for admission to the ceremony.

    • Dress, dress pants, dress shoes, collared shirt (tie preferred).

    • No jeans, shorts, sneakers, flip-flops, or boots allowed.

    • Students are not allowed to decorate their graduation caps

    • If in doubt, ask the center.

    Obligations

In order to receive your cap and gown and graduation tickets for commencement, students must satisfy all outstanding obligations. This includes the following items:

    • Textbooks/Instructional Materials

    • Athletic/Choral/Band Uniforms

    • Chromebook and Chromebook Charger

    • Act 158 and Work Based Learning

    • Scholarship Thank You Notes

    • Library Books

    Chromebooks

Please access this link for the Chromebook collection plan for all seniors. Seniors will return their Chromebook and charger directly to the third floor center during the week of June 4th-7th. Do not hand your Chromebook and charger to a teacher in the building. To make the process as quick and efficient as possible, we have designated times in the 3rd floor center to collect your device.

    Kind regards,
