My name is Joshua Peterkin, and I have the privilege of being one of the Assistant Principals for the Class of 2027. I have been a part of the Upper Darby School District for five years, serving in the roles of math teacher and lead teacher at the high school and then as the Assistant Principal for the graduating class of 2023.

I am a graduate of West Chester University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I also earned my administrative certification through St. Joseph’s University. I have been in education for over twenty years, having been a middle school math teacher, middle school administrator, and elementary administrator before joining the Upper Darby School District.

I also had the opportunity to coach both baseball and basketball for many years before moving into a role as an administrator.

My goal each and every day is to make sure that our students and families feel safe, supported, and encouraged to meet the ever-growing demands of the world around us. I am a resident of Springfield with my wife and three children. As a family, we love to be outdoors hiking and camping together.
