Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies. In order to be fully eligible for membership in Rho Kappa, students must meet the following requirements:

• Maintain an 80% overall GPA or better
• Earn a 90% or better in each and every Social Studies class
• Be currently enrolled in Accelerated, Honors, or AP Social Studies classes
• Complete two semesters of Social Studies at UDHS when applying, and at least 4 by the end of senior year

*Transfer students may apply for an exception to this rule if they are in their junior or senior year.

Cost to students: $10 membership fee; $15 during Senior Year for graduation pin and cord
