College Planning
In order to meet future career goals, all students in the Upper Darby School District are encouraged to consider post-secondary education/training upon graduation from high school. The primary tool for our students is Naviance. If you need more resources look here.
Admission Testing Information:
Many colleges are test optional but if you are interested in taking a standardized test for college entrance you have two choices. We recommend that you take a test twice because your score will benefit from practice. UDSD offers the PSAT for free to all 10th and 11th graders during the school day each fall. The PSAT is the practice SAT and a predictor of success on the SAT.
The SAT and ACT are college entrance tests offered on Saturdays based on a published calendar in the respective websites below. You must pay for the SAT/ACT and you may qualify for a fee waiver, see your counselor.
