    Dr. Brian Ursone, the Director of Pupil Services, is in his 20th year in education. HeI earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Temple University in 2003, followed by a Master's in Education from Temple in 2006. He then completed a Master’s in Education (Educational Leadership) from Edinboro University in 2010, and received his Doctor of Education from Wilmington University in 2015.

     

    Prior to becoming an educator, he worked briefly as a sales representative for a local manufacturing company. He then quickly pivoted to teaching. His professional career in education includes 19+ years of service, with 8+ years in the Upper Darby School District. During his time as a classroom teacher, he taught business, computer, and information technology courses for three different schools. He taught for two years at Hope Charter School, one year at The Vanguard School, and eight years at Garnet Valley High School. 

     

    His career then shifted to the Upper Darby School District. He served as an Assistant Principal at Beverly Hills Middle School from 2015 to 2017. In August of 2017, he was appointed as Principal of Beverly Hills Middle School. From August of 2017 to June of 2022, he proudly served as BHMS Principal. Since July 1, 2022, he’s been the Director of Pupil Services. 

     

    Dr. Ursone is very proud to support the needs of our district via the student services department. His team works diligently to help Upper Darby School District students and staff reach their full potential and achieve excellence. Dr. Ursone is honored to be a part of this team.
