Neil Desnoyers
President
Neil Desnoyers was elected to the School Board of Directors for the Upper Darby School District in 2017. He and his wife (a public educator) have lived in the Highland Park section of Upper Darby since 1995. His is a product of public schools and believes strongly in the central role that public education serves in a thriving democracy.
Mr. Desnoyers involvement with the Upper Darby School District began during the 2015-2016 academic year when he volunteered to serve on the District’s Comprehensive Plan Committee. Since then, and in addition to his service as a School Director, he has served on the district’s Charter School Application Review Team and as the Volunteer Assistant Leader for the Beverly Hills Middle School Math Club.
Mr. Desnoyers earned an MS and MBA from Drexel University after earning an undergraduate degree in Architecture. He currently teaches part-time as an Adjunct Professor at Saint Joseph’s University (SJU). His involvement with SJU includes working with students on research projects and serving on a number of committees on campus. In addition, he holds leadership positions in several professional societies.
