Robert, "Bob," has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since 2015 and is not a stranger to technology in an educational environment. Having worked in the educational technology industry for a number of years, Bob is equipped with a vast knowledge and practical experience of the ever growing technological needs that staff and students face on a daily basis, throughout the school district. In addition to his enthusiasm for technology, Bob is also a baseball enthusiast who believes that, like in baseball, working as a team to support the company's overall goal and success is what makes his work enjoyable and rewarding.

Karen is a proud 1978 graduate of Upper Darby High School. After graudation, Karen worked in the medical field as the office manager for a local endodontist. After she left the endodontist, she returned to her Upper Darby School family and worked in the registrar's office. With her keen organization, customer service, and management skills Karen made the lateral move to the Technical Services Department in 2005 and to this day the school district is still extremely grateful! Similar to her own family, Karen considers her Upper Darby family as special and something that cannot be found anywhere else.

Jason has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since graduating from Upper Darby High School in 2007. As a student, Jason served as an integral, yet unofficial, member of the Technical Services Department; where, somedays the other members of the department forgot that he was a student. As a result of the exceptional education and practical experience that Jason received from Upper Darby High School, he decided to continue with the Technical Services Department as a way to repay the school district for helping to foster and grow his love for technology. While working with the ever changing dynamics of technology on a daily basis, Jason considers his colleagues and the ability to create a postivie educational experience for everyone as the favorite aspects of his job.

Charles, "Chuck," is a proud 1987 graduate of Upper Darby High School. Prior to joining the Upper Darby School District family as a staff in 2008, Chuck worked for 30 years as a "jack of all trades" as a technology contractor. The technical and interpersonal skills that Chuck uses on a daily basis throughout the school district are the result of his work as a technology contractor and working with a diverse level of technology and people. Believing that everything happens for a reason, Chuck, without hesitation, returned home to Upper Darby. Day in and day out, Chuck strives to effectively and efficiently provide high class technical and customer service to everyone is the school district in order to maximize the educational experience.

Jonathan has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since 2019 and new to educational technology. Prior to joining the Technical Services Department, Jonathan worked in consumer technology throughout several states. As a result, Jonathan brings with him strong customer service skills and a fresh perspective for improving the day-to-day business aspect of the Upper Darby High School.

Melissa has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since 2017. Prior to joining the Technical Services Department in 2019, Melissa worked in the Transportation Department as a bus driver. To this day, Melissa is greatly missed by her coworkers in the Transportation Department because of her infectious positive energy, dependability, and work ethic. In addition, Melissa is equipped with a high level of resourcefulness, professionalism, and an attention to detail; for which, Drexel Hill Middle School is grateful.
Rodney Darius, Computer Technician

Rodney has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since 2017. Prior to joining the Technical Services Department, Rodney worked at MicroCenter as a customer service agent and repair technician. In the time that he spent with MicroCenter, Rodney learned the "ins and outs" of various technology equipment from cellphones to televisions and everything in between. Fortunately for the district, Rodney brought with him this vast knowledge of different technologies and the ability to know exactly what his customers need. On a daily basis, Rodney's work philosophy is one that focuses on hard work, diligence, and "cut to the chase" because he does not believe in wasting time when it comes to providing the staff members and students at Bywood, Charles Kelly, Garrettford, Highalnd Park, and Stonehurst Hills Elementary School the technology and resources that they need to succeed.

Edward, "Ed," is a proud 2002 graduate of Upper Darby High School. After Ed graduated, he pursued a career with a cable company and provided customers with a high level of customer service. When opportunity presented itself to Ed in 2011, he jumped at the chance to return to his alma mater. Ed has been an invaluable asset to the Technical Services Department through his ability to channel any negative situation into a productive solution for the staff and students at Beverly Hills Middle School. While technology is an excellent educational tool, it may not always work as intended; which, results in a disruption of learning. With this in mind, Ed considers proper working technology to help the students acheive their fullest academic potential as the best aspect of his job.

Trevor has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since 2017 and is not a stranger to technology in an educational environment. While earning his degree from Immaculata University, Trevor worked for the school district on a part-time basis until early 2019 when a full-time position in the Technical Services Department became available. In his role, Trevor travels between all of the buildings within the school district in order to work with a variety of people and technology; as a result, Trevor considers the exposure to such levels of diversity and the need to always solve problems differently as the favorite aspects of his job.

William, "Drew," has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family and a prominent asset to the Technical Services Department since 2010. Prior to joining the team, Drew worked in the consumer sales industry and, as a result, brings with him strong customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail. In addition, Drew is equipped with a "MacGyver" like ability to solve any and all technical issues. As a family man, Drew understands the impact and excitement that technology has on a child's academic success. With that in mind, Drew considers assisting the Upper Darby School District students with their technological needs to attain their full academic potential as his favorite part of the job.
Matthew Laut, Computer Technician
Matthew "Matt" Laut is an Upper Darby family member through and through. Having graduated from Upper Darby High School in 2015, Matt is a prime example of the wholistic education that the Upper Darby School District strives to provide for each and every student. Matt joined the Technical Service Department in the summer of 2018 as a summer associate and assisted the department with their on-going Chromebook deployment process. Matt's innovative and adaptive thinking helped to streamline the deployment process and allowed the rest of the department to breathe a little easier while tackling additional on-going projects. Matt's ability to think and solve problems creatively and abstractly will greatly benefit Walter M. Senkow, Primos, and Westbrook Park Elementary School.

Antonio has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since 2015. Prior to joining the Technical Services Department, Antonio worked behind the scenes in consumer retail and provided an unseen flow of efficiency and customer satisfaction. In the transition time between working in consumer retail and Upper Darby, Antonio enjoyed being a stay at home father during the early years of his daughter's life. From his experiences, prior to Upper Darby, Antonio brings with him on a daily basis a strong and practical sense of organization, logical thinking, and the ability to put love and care into his work for everyone he helps at Upper Darby High School. Over the next few years, Antonio is striving to improve his knowledge and abilities in order to rise to the level of Assistant Network Administrator as an additional way to support the goal of "providing a comprehensive and challenging educational programs" through the use of technology to all of the students in the Upper Darby School District.

Dylan has been a member of the Upper Darby School District family since June 2020. When Dylan joined the Technical Services Department, the school district was adapting to and continually evolving with the heightened need for technology support in light of the global pandemic. Immediately, Dylan jumped into supporting the district's 1:1 chromebook initative by working with other members of the department to prepare about seven-thousand devices for the 2020-2021 school year. Having previously worked as a car salesman, Dylan's ability to prepare these devices, using a business-like mindset, contributed greatly to speeding up the completion time for the project. Dylan's goal with the department is to continue advancing his career, his intellectual and practice knowledge, and his passion for technology in a challenging, but rewarding, educational-based work environment.
