Pandemic Food Distribution

September 10, 2020
Dear Families,
Great News! The PA Department of Education (PDE) has just informed us that they are changing the food service guidelines once again. We will now be able to provide free meals for ALL of our township children, including district students, students who attend private, cyber or charter schools, and children younger than school age. The new plan will begin on September 14th. Meal pick up (5 breakfasts and 5 lunches) will be on Mondays or Wednesdays between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Children or adults may pick up the meals. Some families have requested early morning meal pick up times due to work schedules. We will make every effort to accommodate those requests, and we will do so by appointment. If a morning time is better for you, please email UDFood@upperdarbysd.org to schedule a morning pick up. Please see the document below for more details, and for a list of locations for food pick up. Some locations have changed.
Thank you,
Wendy ElgartDirector of Federal Programs, Grants, Food Service, Counseling & Social Work
