Ed Monaghan has served as Supervisor of Central Registration for the past 12 years.  Prior to his current role he worked alongside the Director of Public Safety.

Ed is a 1985 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School and is a member of their hall of fame.  He graduated from Penn State University in 1989 with a degree in criminal justice.  He was a 2 year starter for the Penn State Varsity Football team and was a member of the 1986 national championship team.

Ed oversees both the registrars and the attendance officers in the district.  All of our Upper Darby School District families come to Central Registration to initially enroll their children and update any information that changes throughout the years.  Our Attendance Officers ensure that everyone who is registered in the district continues to reside here.  They also represent the district in truancy court.

When he is not at work, Ed enjoys time with his wife and four daughters, especially Summers in Sea Isle City, New Jersey.  Although he is long graduated Ed continues to be an avid Penn State fan. He also follows local high school sports.
