Parent Equity Leadership Team
Every parent has the opportunity to participate in parent equity forums. Surveys and flyers are sent out to all families across the District through each school's Wednesday folder and the District's social media, encouraging parents in our community to participate and support our District equity initiatives. At these forums, updates about equity in our school district community are shared such as: equity goals, our efforts in implementing the equity plan, and our progress in implementation of best equitable practices. Parents also receive updates on the work of the Comprehensive Equity Team, the Building Liaison Equity Team, the Districtwide Equity Leadership Team, and student equity work through the Youth Equity Stewardship (YES!). Parent forums will take place three (3) times this school year: October, February and March.
