• Tax Certification

     

    ****It is recommended that you request a school tax certificate AND a duplicate school tax bill. In order to pay a school tax bill, you will need the actual bill

    You cannot use the tax certificate as a bill. 

     

    Each school tax bill has a barcode on it and that is how the tax bill and payment are processed.  If a school tax payment is sent to the PO Box without the school tax bill, the payment will be returned.   

     

    SCHOOL TAX PAYMENTS ARE NOT TO BE SENT TO ANY UDSD OFFICE. 

     

     

    • All tax payments must include a current school tax bill
    • PHOTOCOPIES OF BILLS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. 
    • The school tax payment and bill are to be mailed to the address listed on the bill:  PO Box 13925, Philadelphia PA, 19101. 
    • School tax payments are not to be sent to any administrative office of the Upper Darby School District.
    • Tax certifications are not considered bills.
    • A duplicate bill fee should not be sent in lieu of a duplicate billThe actual bill is required.

     

    To obtain a School Tax Certification, the requester must provide: 

    Owner name

    Property address

    Folio number

    Self-addressed stamped envelope

    Check payable to Upper Darby School District.  

     

    There is a standard fee of $35.00 per property for this service. All requests made with the $35.00 fee will be returned via a self-addressed stamped envelope. 

     

    Rush certifications are available for a $50.00 per property fee.

    All $50.00 rush certifications will be returned within 24 - 48 hours of receipt and can be returned either by fax, email or self-addressed stamped envelope

     The tax office does not accept faxed or emailed requests.  Payment must be received with the request.
