The 2023 Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS) is a statewide survey that gathers valuable information about the behaviors, attitudes, and perceptions of students in grades 6 through 12. Conducted every two years, PAYS provides a comprehensive snapshot of youth risk behaviors, including substance use, mental health, bullying, physical activity, and academic engagement. The data collected through this survey helps schools, communities, and policymakers better understand the challenges and needs of youth, allowing for the development of targeted programs and interventions that promote positive youth development and well-being.
