2023 Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS)
-
The 2023 Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS) is a statewide survey that gathers valuable information about the behaviors, attitudes, and perceptions of students in grades 6 through 12. Conducted every two years, PAYS provides a comprehensive snapshot of youth risk behaviors, including substance use, mental health, bullying, physical activity, and academic engagement. The data collected through this survey helps schools, communities, and policymakers better understand the challenges and needs of youth, allowing for the development of targeted programs and interventions that promote positive youth development and well-being. By participating in the PAYS, students have the opportunity to share their experiences, helping shape future efforts to create healthier, safer, and more supportive environments for all young people in Pennsylvania.
